Hey guuuuyyyyssss!
So this is going to be two blog posts in one, an outfit of the day featuring new clothing company Ooh La Lah and a mini review for new Marvel film Suicide Squad. (Just kidding, Puddin', I know it's DC... haha)
If you haven't seen Suicide Squad yet, you literally have to! The movie has heaps of mixed reviews, and everyone I've spoke to about it has a different opinion, but I personally adore it. I'll go into more detail below, but in short, you can't miss it!

Outfit deets first! I discovered Ooh La Lah on Facebook one day, and loved their clothing, and I'm so glad I'm working with them! They've kindly sent me two bodysuits to style and review, so this is the first. Unfortunately this particular piece is no longer on their website, but theres similar and also one that I
This black harness bodysuit on is beautiful, I love body onesies with long arms, I feel like they're quite a unique and cool detail. Body harness' are gorgeous, too. I think they make any outfit look instantly sexier and interesting, and it ties in with the lace up front trend going on at the moment. I went out one night with this on, and got so many compliments.
A lot of people would say that you can't wear plunge cut if you don't have big boobs, but I'm pretty small and flat chested, and it makes me feel amazing wearing that style, so fuck body size constrictions, wear what makes you happy, I say! (hear, hear! haha)
I'll be doing another fashion post soon, with a lace up choker bodysuit in a nude / brown colour, so if you're struggling with styling up bodysuits, check back here for sure.
Onto the Suicide Skwad review... (did you see the casts tattoos?! eek)
So, a lot of people have been left bitterly disappointed with the new comic themed movie, and there's an array of reviews out there all contradicting one another, but I bloody loved it.
I was worried Will Smith, being such a well known celebrity, would take away the attention from the movie and out shine the other characters, but he didn't. His character, Dead Shot, was obviously one of the main protagonists (...or antagonist, shit what are they classed as in this case?! haha) and he was brilliant, casting was on point for this one. Man I don't want to say too much in case whoever is reading this hasn't seen the film yet... Take this as a spoiler alert! Ha.
I know there was a fair bit of controversy when it was released that Jared Leto would be The Joker, but I fell in love with him straight away. Shoot me down, but Heath Ledger just didn't do it for me. I think I prefer the quirkiness of Leto, he makes a damn hot Joker. I told my sister that I fancy Jared as The Joker, but not as him, and she just gave me a very disapproving look. Haha, anyway...
Margot Robbie was the most perfect Harley Quinn (I've filmed an easy makeup tutorial on YouTube if you wanna see, click here..) and I was skeptical of her at first. I saw her in Tarzan playing Jane a few weeks back, and I could't see past the typical English Rose look she had, but damn, I'll give credit where credit is due, she is a bloody brilliant actress. You see her as Dr Harleen Quinzel before The Joker messes with her, and it's like seeing two completely different people. My favourite line in the movie is actually from her... "The voices in my head said I should kill you all... Haha, I'm just joking, they didn't really say that!" (don't quote me on that word for word, mind, ha) she had me laughing loooadds.
Now a bad point to bring up... Eek, sorry! I do feel like there was a bit too much hype for what we got. There could have been a lot more action than what there was, and I feel like more of a back story to each character would have been so much better.
At certain points in the movie, it felt like they were trying to hard to combat Deadpool, and not in a good way. Obviously, Marvel are a huge success with their films and DC want to kick them out of their spot and reign in the super hero genre, but I don't think that's the way to go about it!
I'd really love a Joker and Harley Quinn movie spin off from this, I just can't get enough of their relationship. I want to see Harley's dream of a family come true! Cute.
Was that the most rambled movie review you've ever read? Sorry, not sorry.
Basically, go and see it!!!
Thanks for reading my loves, have an amazing week!
