My Current Playlist! - Spotify ft. Ariana Grande, Dax, & The Libertines

So lets talk music! I don't think I've ever spoke about what songs or bands I'm into on here, apart from the obvious Amy Winehouse which I guess is quite a given considering I've got her face permanently marked on my body for eternity...
My taste is a bit of everything, depending on what I'm feeling, what I'm doing. Different genres fit different vibes, you know? Here's the main people and songs I'm listening to at the minute, in a blog post, just in case you were interested, or wanted to listen to different things.
I've created a Spotify playlist with all my current favourites on there, so if you have that and want to follow, or give my playlist a listen, here's the link and the widget to use on here!

There's been two new albums which I've been absolutely loving recently as well, which is Ariana Grandes new one which she literally banged out in no time at all, called 'thank u, next' which is literally an album that I will listen to every track and not have to skip on any, which is somewhat unusual for me. 7 rings is such a sassy, girly song that I adore, and I've actually wrote my own version of this which I'm hoping to record for you guys soon, which will be fun!
thank u, next is another one that's amazing, which I'm sure you've all heard. The music video is just iconic, truly. Hearing her talk about this song in interviews is pretty raw too, especially the podcast she did with Zach Sang - seeing her get emotional was a bit heartbreaking. You all know the line about Mac Miller, yeah... Enough said, really...

Another new album is one from an old favourite Bring Me The Horizon. The album is called Amo and medicine is probably the one I've listened to the most. Lyrically, it's just very relatable for me. Now apparently a lot of BMTH fans haven't loved this release, and I can understand why, it's not too similiar to their other albums. It does feel more pop, maybe even has a slight indie feel to it, but as a band and it's members grow, their music is bound to do the same. If you haven't heard it, give it a listen, even if you're not a fan of their older stuff you might feel this one.

Dax is a new rapper I've been into recently. I got introduced to him by my boyfriend who found him through KSI and Deji / Comedy Shorts Gamers bit of beef they had on YouTube (If you missed it, don't worry it wasn't that interesting haha, I'm sure it was just a play on media, which is smart tbh). Anyway, his story is quite interesting. He used to be a basketball player and it all went wrong somewhere down the line to no fault of his own, and now he raps and is killing it. He has this one song called Your Worth It or YourWorthIt.Org and it's an inspiring song for sure. I'm glad I've started listening to him!

Queen. Freddie Mercury, I don't even need to introduce anyone to him or them, they're Godly. I've always loved Queen, and I have my parents to thank for that, and the new biopic Bohemian Rhapsody just properly cemented that in there for me. They were so ahead of their time, and I'm glad their sound continues to live on today. Love of my life is my all time favourite track, it has me weeping sometimes as I'm literally mourning him. The fact that I'll never see him live hurts my soul. Freddie will forever be in my top playlist, so if I do more of these blog posts, I'm sure this won't be their first and only mention!

In this playlist, I also have old but gold classics like Fleetwood Mac, The Animals, The Beatles, and The Clash. Because of Stranger Things, my little 13 year old sister loves The Clash, specifically Should I Stay or Should I Go, obviously. Proud big sister here! I love when popular TV shows like that introduce iconic music pieces to younger audiences, more of that please!
There's a few others in the playlist which you should check out up top, also if you know of any songs or bands that I should listen to, let me know! Always open to trying new things out.

I've also got a good friend who's releasing her music soon, so I'll be sure to share this with you guys, she's awesome!

See you in my next video and post, thanks for reading.
Have a lovely week!
